Karnataka is preparing for a possible visit by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay. Deputy Chief Minister G. Parameshwara mentioned the visit could be on August 3, but the schedule remains unconfirmed.

Karnataka CM has proposed an all-party meet on the Cauvery water issue. The Cauvery Water Regulation Committee directed Karnataka to release 3,500 cusecs at Biligundlu for 15 days, totaling approximately 4 TMC of water.

The Deputy Chief Minister announced a strong system to prevent temple fund leakage. Parameshwara stated that large temples can use their funds locally.
