    Long-Acting Lenacapavir Still Delivered Effective HIV PrEP After a Year

    A year-long extension of the PURPOSE 1 and PURPOSE 2 trials found that twice-yearly injectable lenacapavir (Yeztugo) for HIV PrEP resulted in only one new HIV infection. The drug demonstrated high effectiveness in preventing HIV over the study period.
