PM SHRI scheme

INL questions Kerala Chief Minister over the PM SHRI scheme after the Centre’s clarification, which the INL State general secretary claims contradicts the Chief Minister’s assertion that the state was obligated to proceed with the scheme due to the previous LDF government's MoU.

The Kerala Cabinet subcommittee chaired by Minister N. Samsudheen, including Ministers Roji M. John, P.C. Vishnunadh, and M. Liju, has not yet finalized its report on the PM SHRI scheme. The subcommittee plans to meet one more time to submit the report without delay.

AKSTU organized a Secretariat march to demand the State withdraw from the PM SHRI scheme and implement corrective measures for the neglect of the general education sector in the revised Budget.
