A police officer involved in a narcotics case has disengaged from service in Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir. During a check, authorities recovered syringes, needles, and a silver foil paper used for consuming narcotic substances.

A 3-year-old girl was hospitalized with serious injuries after being struck by a boat at the Park Moabi Channel on the Colorado River in Needles, San Bernardino County, on May 23. Deputies responded to the collision around 3:46 p.m., and investigators indicated the boat operator had backed away from the scene.

A 54-year-old suspect, Michael Reed, was arrested after a man was found dead in a San Bernardino County ravine. Deputies responded to reports of a body near Broadway and Quivera streets on August 26, 2025.
