    SHC acquits man in university student's 2017 suicide case

    The Sindh High Court acquitted Anees Khaskheli, a private school teacher, who was previously sentenced to life in 2023 for his alleged role in the 2017 suicide of university student Naila Rind. The court ruled that the prosecution failed to prove charges under the Anti-Terrorism Act and cyberstalking laws beyond reasonable doubt.
