Teen swimmer who vanished off Rockaway Beach during NYC heat wave found dead
An 18-year-old high schooler named Brandon Figueroa, who vanished during a heat wave at Rockaway Beach, was found dead floating near the shoreline in Breezy Point on May 30. The body was discovered at Beach 222nd Street and Rockaway Point Boulevard.
