    State budget bill includes $25M for Military World Games venue improvements, athlete housing

    The N.C. General Assembly is considering a supplementary budget bill allocating $25 million for the 2027 Military World Games in Charlotte.     Mecklenburg County approves Capital Group incentives

    Mecklenburg County approved an $18.8 million incentives package for The Capital Group Cos. Inc., including property tax rebates from the county and city, and a job development grant from the state.
