- Upper West Side stabbings: Prime suspect charged with attempted murder and hate crime in alleged antisemitic attack
Raul Morales, 51, was charged with attempted murder and hate crimes after allegedly stabbing two men on the Upper West Side. The suspect targeted a 40-year-old Asian man and a 50-year-old Jewish man, shouting 'Allahu Akbar' during both attacks before being arrested at an NYCHA apartment building. Both victims were hospitalized in stable condition.
