- Minnetonka police officer’s ‘unoccupied vehicle’ hits burglary suspect, BCA investigating
A burglary suspect was struck by an unoccupied vehicle belonging to a Minnetonka police officer on Monday morning near 3700 block of Chicago Avenue South in Minneapolis. The incident occurred after the officer, who was working as part of the Hennepin County Auto Theft Task Force, had detained the man on foot. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries, and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) is investigating how the vehicle was moving when unoccupied.
