A magnitude 7.7 earthquake struck off Indonesia's coast, striking the Flores region and causing severe damage, collapsed buildings, and killing at least two people. Authorities initially issued a tsunami warning but later lifted it after monitoring showed no significant sea-level changes. The quake was reported to have hit near Ende in East Nusa Tenggara province.
