A man was shot during an altercation with bail bond agents at a Marathon gas station in Roseville on Thursday after he skipped bail on June 9. The suspect fled in his vehicle, struck an agent's car, and was wounded when an agent fired a shot during the struggle. He was hospitalized, and the agents involved are certified with Concealed Pistol Licenses in Michigan.

Al Fairfax, 40, faces first-degree murder and other charges in Clinton Township after allegedly stabbing Shamekia Kelly, 36, and stealing her car, phone, and keys. Police found Kelly dead with multiple stab wounds during a March 2026 welfare check. Fairfax denied bond during his June 11 arraignment.
