Somali pirates hijacked the Eritrean-flagged M.T. Sibu 1 off Yemen and took it toward Somalia’s Puntland coast, making it the sixth commercial vessel seized since April. The tanker was sanctioned by the U.S. Treasury Department for allegedly belonging to an Iranian "shadow fleet."
