Dennis J. McNamara, a Pasadena Unified School District volunteer and bond oversight committee chair, has filed to run for the District 7 seat on the PUSD Board of Education. Yarma Velázquez, who currently holds the seat, will not seek reelection. District 7 spans from Linda Vista in west Pasadena to Madison Heights.
