The six-month United Democratic Front (UDF) rule in Kerala's Pala municipality ended with the removal of chairperson Diya Binu through a no-confidence motion led by the Left Democratic Front (LDF). The motion passed with 17 councillors, including four Congress members and the UDF vice-chairperson.
