    Teen boy riding scooter killed by hit-and-run driver in Lawndale

    A 15-year-old boy was killed by a hit-and-run driver while riding an electric scooter in Lawndale on July 20. Lawndale station deputies responded to a crash on Rosecrans Avenue around 10:14 p.m., where they found two teen victims, with the 15-year-old pronounced dead at the scene.
