The first 20 attendees of a backyard composting workshop on July 25 at Lamanda Park Branch Library will receive free compost bins. The session covers setting up a compost bin, identifying suitable materials, and maintaining decomposition balance.
- Roof Replacements Completed at Four City Facilities
Pasadena has completed roof replacement projects at Fire Station 36, Santa Catalina Branch Library, Lamanda Park Branch Library, and Hastings Branch Library to improve the long-term reliability and resilience of these facilities. The work, part of Public Works’ infrastructure preservation efforts, addressed aging roofing systems identified in the 2018 Facility Condition Assessment and was completed on June 5.
