    University of Alabama appears to settle with instructor fired after Charlie Kirk’s death

    The University of Alabama settled a lawsuit with former English professor Candice Hale, who claimed she was fired for a social media post about political commentator Charlie Kirk's death. Hale also filed a separate lawsuit against Auburn University, alleging termination there for similar reasons.
