Norwich, Vermont, has implemented a $250 fee for short-term rental properties under new interim bylaws approved by the selectboard. The regulations require registration, inspections, and limit rentals to avoid noncompliance with health and safety standards. Similar regulations exist in other Upper Valley towns and New Hampshire communities.
