Kerala Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan denied refusing to meet KSU leaders, addressing reports that he avoided meeting KSU president Aloshious Xavier amid disputes over the appointment of an individual with alleged ties to the Students Federation of India as a government pleader.

Youth Congress and KSU held a tense march in Delhi against police action, with protesters condemning the alleged manhandling of Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi by Delhi Police during a demonstration. The protest demanded the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan over alleged NEET irregularities.

K.C. Venugopal, the AICC general secretary, urged KSU workers to address their grievances through party forums. The party acknowledged potential concerns but emphasized that issues should be raised in organizational channels first.

Alappuzha legislator A.D. Thomas and Ajay Jewel Kuriakose, who filed a complaint against the attack on KSU and Youth Congress activists, criticized the granting of anticipatory bail to the accused security team members, vowing to continue pursuing the case for justice.
