Joliet, Ill.

An 18-year-old man was seriously injured in a shooting in Joliet, Illinois, on Saturday evening near East Benton Street and Polson Place. The Joliet Police Department reported that the man was shot in the back and left arm and was taken to Silver [...] for medical treatment.

Authorities are investigating thefts and break-ins at two Joliet hotels where high-performance vehicles from a traveling car show were stolen or damaged. The incidents occurred early Tuesday outside a Holiday Inn and Suites in the 1400 block.
