    STAT+: Novo Nordisk sues Eli Lilly over GLP-1 drug ads it calls ‘deceptive’

    Novo Nordisk sued Eli Lilly for allegedly running a deceptive ad campaign using outdated clinical trials to compare higher doses of its drugs Zepbound and Mounjaro with lower doses of Novo's Wegovy and Ozempic. The lawsuit, filed in New Jersey federal court, accuses Lilly of intentionally confusing consumers through misleading advertising.
