A paraprofessional at Ute Meadows Elementary School in Littleton was charged with felony assault and misdemeanor child abuse after allegedly dragging a developmentally disabled student on the ground. The charges stem from an incident on April 16, when staff witnessed her forcibly grabbing and dragging the student by the arm. She has since been fired from the school.
