UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central is utilizing Ion Robotic Bronchoscopy to provide physicians a more precise method for finding and biopsying small lung nodules. This new program has significantly increased the diagnostic accuracy for these lung nodules to 95%, compared to the 75%–80% rate found with traditional bronchoscopy procedures.
