Two mixed-use apartment buildings will replace vacant land near the 63rd and Ashland Green Line station in West Englewood, including a lot once owned by Suzie B. Wilson, dubbed Chicago’s 'worst landowner.' The $18 million project by E.G. Woode will create 36 apartments, retail space, and community benefits.
