- Hong Kong regulators freeze US$15.9 million linked to suspected IPO fraud
Hong Kong’s securities regulator, the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), froze HK$125 million (US$15.9 million) in assets linked to a suspected market manipulation scheme. The SFC issued a restriction notice to brokerage Futu, prohibiting it from processing assets held by an entity accused of artificially inflating demand for IPO shares.
