I-275

A major traffic shift on I-94 between I-275 and Michigan Ave. is now complete, impacting commuters to Detroit Metro Airport. All northbound lanes of I-275 near Ecorse Road in Wayne County are closed following a single-vehicle crash involving an overturned tractor-trailer. Michigan State Police and local first responders are at the scene, with no injuries reported. Traffic is diverted, and significant delays are expected.

Northbound I-75 will close from Schaefer to Springwells near the Rouge River Bridge from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for bridge maintenance, including adding protective surfaces and an epoxy overlay. Drivers can detour via Fort St. or a freeway route involving I-275, I-94, and I-96. On-ramps to northbound I-75 will close earlier starting 6 p.m. Friday.
