A man fired a shot in Huron Township after believing teens playing 'ding-dong-ditch' were breaking into his home. Authorities found no attempted entry, and the shot was fired through a window toward the teens. Three teens, the homeowner, and their parents received citations for disturbance, parental responsibility, and reckless firearm discharge.

A 41-year-old Huron Township man died in a motorcycle crash at the intersection of Bell Road and Waltz Road. Speed is under investigation as a contributing factor, and the driver was not wearing a helmet. No drugs or alcohol were initially believed to be involved.
