A 42-year-old Chinese woman named Wang from Changsha, Hunan province developed an 8cm oesophageal ulcer after eating hotpot too quickly without allowing the food to cool. The incident occurred in March when she was eating with friends and became too eager, resulting in severe digestive system injury that prompted medical warnings about rapid food consumption.

China's exports are shifting from cheap mass-produced goods to innovative products like hotpot, bubble tea, and sportswear, driven by emerging Chinese brands challenging global markets.
