A 50-year-old woman died in a fire at a Hong Kong flat, with three others hospitalized. The fire occurred at Valiant Court in Ho Man Tin, and the blaze was extinguished quickly by fire services. The victims were taken to Kwong Wah Hospital in Yau Ma Tei, where the woman was later pronounced dead.

Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU) held a groundbreaking ceremony for its new campus in Ho Man Tin on 9 June, marking the start of a development project aimed at creating 'A Hub for Community Health and Wellness'.
