    Ex-Cathay employee gets 20 months’ jail for taking bribes in human smuggling case

    Tsui Ying-kit, a former Cathay Pacific customer services officer, was sentenced to 20 months in jail for accepting HK$18,000 in bribes to assist in human smuggling 17 years ago. He pleaded guilty to four counts of conspiracy for an agent to accept advantages and had previously fled after jumping bail in 2009.
