Three people were rescued on Mountain Island Lake after being pushed downstream. The victims were recovered onto an HFD boat so they could be reunited with their family onshore.

HFD crews controlled a 2-alarm building fire near Gulick Avenue on Monday afternoon. The fire department successfully brought the blaze under control.
