CAL FIRE and Ventura County Fire crews are battling the Grande Fire, a 50-acre brush fire in steep terrain east of Piru and south of the 126 Freeway. Evacuation warnings have been issued, and over 100 firefighters are responding to the fire, which is spreading at a moderate rate.
