    Water scarcity unlikely in Godavari delta of A.P. during kharif, says official

    Water scarcity in the Godavari delta region of Andhra Pradesh during the kharif season is unlikely, according to an official. The Polavaram project has stored 23 tmc ft of water, and Bhadrachalam receives daily inflows of 60,000 cusecs, which the Water Resources Engineer-In-Chief states will suffice for requirements.
