- Tennessee approves pathway for three-year bachelor’s degrees
Tennessee colleges and universities may offer three-year bachelor's degree programs under a policy approved by the Tennessee Higher Education Commission. The Focused Baccalaureate Degree policy allows programs requiring 90 credit hours instead of the typical 120, aiming to accelerate graduation and address workforce needs. Two new programs at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville were also approved.
