- Court’s nod sought to record Pinky’s voice samples
The investigating officer in a narcotics case has requested court permission to record voice samples of Anmol Pinky, an alleged drug baroness, and her three accomplices in prison to match against audio evidence found on seized mobile phones. Pinky and her accomplices were arrested for drug possession and an unlicensed weapon, and the court is being asked to direct jail authorities to facilitate the voice sample recordings for forensic analysis.

The Allahabad High Court granted bail to Manoj, accused of rape and murder, due to insufficient DNA evidence in the FSL report. The court cited the failure to generate a conclusive DNA profile as the reason for the decision.
