Brian Hooker, husband of missing American woman Lynette Hooker, had a $33,000 thermal camera on his boat during the night she disappeared in the Bahamas but did not use it to search for her. A friend, Daniel Danforth, revealed the FLIR system on their boat could detect heat signatures and was never activated during the search. The Coast Guard seized the boat and is investigating the disappearance as a criminal case.
