A Vermont woman, Janna Campbell, has been charged with voluntary manslaughter and reckless endangerment after her pit bull killed her 78-year-old father, Stephen Campbell, who had dementia. The dog had a history of violent behavior, including attacks on a Meals on Wheels driver and home health worker, and was subject to restrictions before the fatal incident.
