Three hikers were killed and five others injured after climbing the restricted Indonesian volcano Mount Dukono to create online content. The hikers, including one local resident and two Singaporeans, were aware of the safety restrictions but insisted on going ahead. The eruption occurred at 7:41 a.m. local time, sending a column of ash over six miles into the sky.
