The Enugu government refutes allegations of land grabbing against its officials. The information commissioner cleared the government, stating the involved entities are Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) used to protect government interests under international best practices.

The Enugu government announced plans to distribute agricultural inputs to 63,000 farmers and approved the employment of 4,698 additional teachers for Smart Green Schools in the state.

The Enugu government cautioned against shutting down markets, stating that such actions contradict their efforts to boost investment, business, and productivity in the state. The government emphasized that these closures do not have its support.
