- Wayne County judge rebuked for trying to represent loved one in OWI case
A Wayne County judge was rebuked for representing a loved one in an operating while impaired case during a virtual court hearing. The judge, Cylenthia LaToye Miller, argued she was acting as an attorney for a young woman she had previously been a guardian of, but the presiding judge, Molly Hennessey Greenwalt, called the appearance improper and reported it to the Michigan State Bar.
