A convenience store in Pompano Beach reopened after a driver accidentally crashed into it by mistaking the gas pedal for the brake. The driver sustained no injuries, the building had no structural damage, but repairs will cost thousands of dollars. Parts of the storefront were boarded up, though the door remained undamaged and operational.
