East 8th Street

Three people, including two children, were injured in a triple shooting in Uptown Charlotte near North Davidson Street and East 8th Street on June 17. The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m., with one child initially found with a gunshot wound and an adult and another child arriving at the hospital later. Police have not disclosed the identities or current conditions of the victims.

A classic Volkswagen Beetle was stolen from Wagenmasters Inc., a Southern California auto restoration business, and the company is seeking public help to track it down. The theft occurred at their location along East 8th Street in Rancho Cucamonga. A video of the incident has been posted on social media.
