Denver Broncos' linebacker Jonathon Cooper was arrested for the second time in a week on charges of violating a protection order related to domestic violence. Cooper and his girlfriend were previously arrested for domestic violence and criminal mischief, and he faces court proceedings with a $5,000 bond.
- Georgia high school teacher allegedly had sex with student in school closet and parked Hummer
Maris Nichols, a 25-year-old teacher at Alexander High School in Georgia, was arrested for alleged sexual misconduct with a student. The incidents allegedly occurred on two occasions, including once in a school closet and again in a Hummer parked in a residential driveway. Nichols was booked into the Douglas County Jail on two felony counts of sexual assault.
