A Tennessee jury sentenced Nathanial Pipkin to death for killing his mother, brother, and 11-year-old sister in 2021, along with attempting to kill his stepfather. Pipkin fled the scene wearing ballistic armor and was captured 100 miles away with multiple weapons in his car.
