A video has gone viral detailing an alleged assault involving DiQuan Hunt, who was seen punching a person on East Boulevard near Dilworth in Charlotte, N.C. Neighbors are reacting to the incident, with some expressing shock and saying they are now paying closer attention to their surroundings.

A suspect was arrested in connection to an assault stemming from a Dilworth social media video. Detectives identified the suspect as Di-Quan Schafar Hunt, who is 32 years old, and subsequently obtained a warrant for his arrest.

Charlotte Water has completed repairs on a water main break in Dilworth, allowing customers to resume limited outdoor watering under drought restrictions. The break occurred on Queens Road between Edgehill Road North and Ardsley Road, with a traffic detour remaining in place for several more days.

Construction has started on Center South, a 329-unit mixed-use project in Dilworth, with the Fallon Company developing Twelve03 at Caldwell Street. The project includes studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments and amenities like a co-working lounge, pool, and fitness center, expected to be completed in 2029.
