Mayor Zohran Mamdani's administration will break ground on the Tremont Avenue busway in the Bronx to speed up service for nearly 40,000 daily riders. The new upgrades are intended to make the critical crosstown corridor safer and easier to navigate by connecting residents to multiple subway lines and local routes.
