    Man fatally shot near Ford City Mall

    A 21-year-old man, Martin Murillo, was fatally shot near Ford City Mall on Chicago's Southwest Side early Saturday. He was pronounced dead at Christ Medical Center after suffering a head wound. The gunman fled in a red SUV, and no arrests were reported. Ford City Mall is scheduled to close later this month due to a court order citing safety concerns.
