A subcontractor fell approximately 20 feet into a new septic tank at Santa Fe Unit School, requiring a technical rescue operation by Maury County Fire Department and resulting in the victim being airlifted to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Crews coordinated with Columbia Power and Water to shut down overhead power lines during the rescue.
