Karliana Yosdeylin Perdomo-Gotopo, a 20-year-old Cleary University student and women’s soccer team member, was detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Lincoln Park, Wayne County. She entered the U.S. as an unaccompanied minor at 16, graduated Detroit’s Western International High School in 2023, and is currently held at the North Lake Correctional Facility in Baldwin, Michigan. Cleary University expressed concern for her well-being and noted the detention is an active legal matter.
