An outbreak of cholera has been reported across a region affecting Myanmar’s biggest city. At least 93 patients have tested positive for the disease at a single hospital. Officials confirmed that this outbreak began last week and is continuing to spread.

Plateau state has recorded 441 suspected cholera cases and 14 deaths across Mangu, Jos North, Jos South, and Barkin Ladi local government areas. Mr. Ba’amlong reported the cases in these regions.
